The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna
by Juliet Grames
Unique writing
Coming from an Italian family, I can relate to some of the characters. At one point the story was utterly depressing. I struggled with understanding and liking Stella at times. If only she was able to discuss her fears to be understood. Overall I liked the story and thinking about the way tradition and family impacts lives.
