This was such an enjoyable story!! I picked it up to be my fun bedtime read and I really couldn’t have chosen better.
I love Kayla and Blake’s dynamic, as well as their individual characters. The magic system is quite cool. And the way this first installment leads into the next is very well done. I feel really set up to dive into book two and find out more about these characters and the big questions that this book introduced.
I bought the next one right away.
