The Lantern's Dance by Laurie R. King

5.0

Russell and Holmes arrive in the small French town where his son Damian lives, only to find Damian and his family have rushed away.  Holmes heads after them, but Russell has a sprained ankle so must look for clues in the house.  The book is both very interesting and relatively gentle - I did guess the central mystery early but that didn't diminish my reading pleasure in the least.
