Meeting His Match by Katee Robert

2.0

2.5 I can't bring myself to round up. First, this book is old. 2014 compared to some other ones of hers I have read. But I also am going to give Roberts credit that she probably has grown as a writer. These characters were one dimensional and everything was really cliche.

My LEAST favorite part was how ambivalent he was about kids and then like well I guess I could have a little tike to the epilogue pregnancy. Pregnancies on epilogues are my least favorite but especially for this one. I just HATED THE 'GENDER' REVEAL. it is a SEX reveal and the very end where he mentions thinking about what type of job he will do! Why can't he take after his mom? Eww this book has a lot of cringe in the stereotypical gender roles. And one more note on that front... how about when he says he won't touch her and he backs off a few times when she says no... and then he jumps her anyways... twice. Nope. Consent is sexy and this wasn't. Nah dawg. Sorry this one is a pass for me.
