This was kind of cute, but I did have some issues with it. I hate when books make me root for the male MC and make me like them more than the woman MC haha. Zia was very unlikeable.

I did not feel sorry for her or care about her trust issues. She ran away from Rashad and treated him badly for years. Even through all of that, he was still the one begging her to be in a relationship and putting in all the work.

It just felt wrong and icky.
