This is a perfect mystery for the Halloween season. I read it in March, but it mentally transported me to October, which is the highest compliment I can pay to any book. The story was set in a small town with charming aesthetics, and not-so-charming people. There were enough characters to keep you guessing, but not so many that it would get confusing. The characters were interesting and the multiple POVs were done well. The pacing was good throughout. There was never a point where I was bored. I definitely did NOT see the twist coming. The cover is also 5/5. If you are a mystery lover, this is a must-read for spooky season. Thank you to Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
