Bad, Dad, and Dangerous by Jenn Moffatt, Rhys Ford, Bru Baker

4.0

Bad, Dad, and Dangerous is an anthology of 4 short stories focusing on the common theme of a main character who is balancing being both a dad and a paranormal being of some sort or another. During each of these shorts, the Dad sends their kid off to summer camp before experiencing a more drama filled break than they expected…but they also meet the loves of their life along the way.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would hands down be “Monster Hall Pass” by Bru Baker (a new to me author that I’ll certainly be trying a full length book by soon). This was such a well developed story squeezed into a short story format. I honestly could’ve read a full length novel with these two MCs and would’ve loved to experience more time in the world it’s set in.
