The Blood of Olympus is the fifth and final instalment of Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus series, and it follows Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Nico, and Reyna as they try to save the Olympian’s, create peace between the Greek and Roman camps, and stop the rise of Gaia. It’s hard to choose a favourite character because I’ve really grown to love all of the demigods. Percy has always been a favourite, Annabeth has always been relatable, I’ve loved Leo since he was introduced, Nico becomes a full on badass, Reyna is a great addition, I’ve developed a soft spot for Jason. My least favourite character was Gaia. I recommend this book because I recommend every book in this universe at this point. I guess I’m back to the Percy Jackson and the Olympian’s series! ‘Let it scare you. Trust that it’ll be okay anyway.’
