A sharp, witty and heartbreaking take on the Medusa myth. I've said it before and I'll say it again, never mind Madeline Miller, Natalie Haynes is the queen of Greek Myth retellings. Haynes makes these characters her own and sculpts the most incredible stories. There is something about how this story is told that makes it feel so traditional - maybe it's the short tales that fit together to make an entire epic. I must read for Greek Myth fans.

Also...Perseus is a dick.
