I was lucky enough to receive a space on the @tandemcollectiveuk Readalong for this book.

We weren't allowed to say who wrote this book & all hid our author tags.

Connor's Mum goes out one day but doesn't return.  Connor is desperate to stay in their house until she returns but at what cost?

Where has his Mum gone & how will he cope?

What a fabulous book, emotional with some humour thrown in it had all the feels. 

I felt invested in the characters & loved the way all their stories fed into the main story.

I definitely recommend this & am so glad I had the opportunity.  It's also made me check my shelves & realise I have another 3 @mikegaylethenovelist books to read!
