What the Dead Know

Up until the last few pages, I was fully expecting to give this a full 5 stars. It felt so atmospheric and creepy. The perfect ghost story for sitting around a fire in the dark and reciting. But something in the climax just didn’t click perfectly for me. Even so, Nghi Vo just knows how to write a short story and I’ll pick up all of them that she writes.
