Okay I completely get they hype. Legends & Lattes is a testament to finding magic in the small and mundane things. This story is the re-invention of Viv, an orc who has spent her life as a bounty hunter. She’s ready to settle into a less violent life and uses her savings to open up her own coffee shop. Throughout Baldree showers us in the wonders of the simple things like the smell of a fresh cup of coffee or the comfort of a warm cinnamon roll. This is cozy low stakes story telling that’s perfect for a rainy day. If you love found family and a touch of whimsy, this is one you’ll enjoy.
