Thank You for Listening
by Julia Whelan
Read the excerpt from Kendra's review below-- I couldn't have said it better myself!
"The book itself is about audiobook narrator, Sewanee Chester, who had a promising acting career until she lost an eye in an accident. I was concerned at first that the book was going to be nothing but a boilerplate, predictable romance, but Whelan handles that fairly playfully by having the characters discuss the usual tropes and groan about the events of the book being like something out of a movie. Beyond that, the book deals with loss, dementia, and acceptance of what life has given you in place of what you were expecting to have."--Kendra
