Forbidden Hearts by Corinne Michaels
4.0
This sat on my kindle from release day and I’m so glad I picked it up. This is an age gap, small town, single dad, nanny romance between Asher and Phoebe.
I loved the relationship between Phoebe and Asher’s daughter Olivia, even thought there was a hair cutting incident when Phoebe was babysitting for Olivia. Both bonded really quickly and I loved how they became so important to each other.
I loved Asher’s protectiveness of Phoebe who makes
mistakes but has the care of Olivia forefront in her mind. As they find themselves together a lot the attraction between them heats up and Asher increasingly finds it hard to resist Phoebe.
As their romance blossoms, as you expect from
Corrine Michaels the spicy scenes are great and their love for each other brings new beginnings.
I also loved the crossover with Melanie Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farms and the book was a great romance which I shouldn’t have put off.
