This story picks up about three years after 28 Summers ends. Jake, Leland, Fray, and Cooper - who wants a redo of their first summer 30 years ago when he ran out on his first bachelor party - all head to Mallory’s cottage on Nantucket. Link, Bess and Ursula also make an appearance. Each chapter tells what each character has been up to and it was a nice catch-up, with a lot of potential for follow-on stories. The ending was quite open, but I didn’t mind it.
