Hello World: Being Human in the Age of Algorithms by Hannah Fry

5.0

I grabbed this book from the library, based on the cover only, without knowing anything about it. I figured I'd at least get a giggle out of it, but it turned out to be a very positive surprise.

Fry even references some other works that I have read, namely "Thinking Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman, and "Gödel, Escher, Bach" by Douglas Hofstadter. Overall the book has a similar feeling to it than many of Malcolm Gladwell's books, and I'm pretty sure Gladwell has mentioned some of the cases that Fry also discusses. Coincidentally, they are also both TED speakers.
