What the Marquess Sees by Amy Quinton

5.0

Utterly charming! Lady Beatryce is not a simpering debutante. She will never be a proper lady by society standards. She has been forced to harden herself against the cruelty of life. Desperation has been her constant companion, so will anyone ever see the real Beatryce? Lord Dansbury was entranced from first seeing Lady Beatryce, but sadly that feeling turned sour when faced with the hard reality that was Lady Beatryce. In that moment, he learned to hate her. But what is hatred if not passion, and passion more often leads to love. When forced to take Lady a Beatryce on the run to protect her, they soon are faced with the impossible situation of fighting that passion. So much tension and angst leading to their happily ever after, but in the end is an overwhelming amount of love and joys their family comes together. An ending full of happy tears, and endless joy.
