The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl is a slice of life romacne between two office workers but one of them, Himuro, is an ice god and every time his emotions get high, he freezes the room around him.
I thought this was a pretty cute manga to read. I really liked the two characters in this as they are both very cute characters. I really liked the fact that we got to be in Himuro's head a bit during this and see what he was thinking when it came to Fuyutsuki. It's clear that he really cared for her and wnated to do things to show his affection for her without trying to be too obvious about it. I thought the ice powers were really interesting to read about.I thought the art was also very pretty.
The problem I had with this manga is that I felt like I didn't really conenct to the characters as much as I wanted to. While this does have a story that goes throughout the whole manga, it also feels like a bunch of vignettes just put together into one volume. I believe that was how the story was originally told but it got a bit tiring reading about how he's an ice god and his power is controlled by his emotinos every new chapter.
Overall, I thought this was a cute read. I'm not sure this is a manga series I'm giong to continue on with as I wasn't super invested in the characters and their story. However, if this interest you, definitely pick it up.
