Multiple people have told me to read Rock Paper Scissors and while I am always skeptical of suspense & thrillers - I read too many to get my hopes up - this one was solid! I genuinely wasn’t sure what was going on, I followed the false leads, and when the big twist happened… I was shocked. I had to sit for a minute and recalibrate everything I had read up until that point.

My only (very small) issue with the book was how many twists were crammed into the book after the main twist. It kept me on my toes, but I thought maybe one less would have been just as effective. Still a 4+ book.

I’d suggest not knowing much before you read this (outside of content warnings). It involves a couple and a weekend away in the remote wilderness – and it’s a great plot with a serious twist. Trust me!
