When in Rome by Sarah Adams

5.0

This book was so sweet! It literally had me grinning and giggling from start to finish (check out the live reading sprints if you need proof).

Amelia Rose, also known as Rae Rose, is burnt out and needs a break. Unfortunately it’s not easy for a famous pop star to go into hiding and get an actual break. She takes inspiration from her favorite movie star Audrey Hepburn and heads to Rome, Rome, KY that is. It’s there that she finds herself broken down and stranded in the front yard of Noah, the town’s baker. Noah graciously gives her a place to stay while her car is repaired and the two begin falling in love, but just like in Roman Holiday, Rae must return to her regular life in the public eye. How will they navigate their feelings? Is there a happily ever after for them?

I can’t recommend this book enough. If you like small town Hallmark rom-coms then you must pick this book up immediately. Amelia, Noah, and the town of Rome are something special.
