At the beginning I didn’t love this book and I found so many parallel narratives a bit hard to keep track of. And yet, by the end, I wanted to give it 4.5 stars. (The app won’t let me do that!) So cleverly are we drawn towards the conclusion and the discovery of the delicately-woven, underlying theme. Masterful!
