So, full disclosure, I received this as part of the goodreads giveaway program. I had actually forgotten that I entered giveaway, so it was confusing and delightful to receive the book in the mail.
I did enjoy this book. It was a very quick read. I finished it in roughly an hour. The stories are cute and the illustrations are well-done and appropriately placed. It felt very relatable to me, as I am a 20 something with a tumblr, still trying to find my way in the world.
The book was a little too short for me. I actually wish the author had written full stories for some of the characters. For some of the fairy tales, the snippets worked. For others, such as his Cinderella story, I wish that it had been a full short story, rahter than just glimpses into the ideas.
But overall, it was definitely enjoyable and funny!
