Devolution: A Firsthand Account of the Rainier Sasquatch Massacre by Max Brooks

dark tense fast-paced

4.75

What happens when a group of people that signed up to be a part of a sustainable and part off the grid community but instead end up in the middle of volcanic eruption that send Sasquatch directly to you?

I enjoyed the morbid of story telling, not only through Kate’s journal entries, but through interview and different excerpts. Tension builds throughout coming to a head. The different impact the level of stress to survive has on each member of the community was interesting and how that changes as their circumstances change.

Warning: it is gory
