My rating is based on reading previous Pete the Cat books. If you are looking for jaunty, singing Pete, then skip this one. Pete is in a Thanksgiving play...and it's the typical story of the pilgrims and Squanto. Lifting the flaps is the only engaging part of the story. If you are looking for positive Pete to lay down some beats about Turkey day... you won't find it here.
