That whole alt plot of psychotic bad guy I-forgot-his name hunting down Cormac is utterly boring and uninteresting. If Asher had just focused on the main plot and offered some more Dragon or even any other interesting bits (there's a million of them and that psychotic bad guy is not one of them), this would have been so so much better.
Also, why not include the ending of the book, well you know, actually in the book.
