Beneath Devil's Bridge by Loreth Anne White

4.0

“We, as a community, are all responsible for watching our children.”

Beneath Devil’s Bridge is a gripping read that is loosely based on a murder that happened in British Columbia.

CW: Rape, sexual abuse involving minors, graphic details involving murder, bullying

24 years ago, teenager Leena Rai was brutally raped and murdered. Now, a true crime podcast is interviewing her murderer as he speaks out for the first time since his confession. What drove Clay Pelley to commit this horrific crime… if he did at all?

I got this as an Amazon First Reads, which are usually hit or miss for me. Beneath Devil’s Bridge was a page turner.

This book is not for the faint of heart, White does not shy away from details, which makes the story all the more painful. If you enjoy thrillers and true crime, this book is for you.
