I received a copy of this ebook from NetGalley.
From the very start of this book I had a 'Gone Girl'/'Girl on the Train' vibe and I have to say that it didn't disappoint! The characters are mostly teens and the storyline is slightly less gruesome but all in all felt very similar to those books. Maybe because I've read enough stories with a 'big twist' I mostly saw what was coming but was surprised a enough times to keep me engaged. The flow of the story is very fast (I read this in one day) and definitely had a hard time putting it down near the end! There are a few open ends to the story that I would have liked some answers to but for the most part it wrapped up quite nicely.
For Lydia: nr-language is pretty rough (quite a few uses of the f-word, b-word, etc); talk about teen sex, rape, few kissing scenes; b/b relationships; Flynn has great relationship with his parents which is really nice to see but January has a pretty messed up home life
