i enjoyed finally reading a book where the fmc isn’t perfect all around. yes, she was beautiful but the scar gave her more than the basic female lead.
scars tell stories and her told a brave one. she sacrificed herself to a point just to save someone else.
and with saying that, he was just the worst mmc. yes, he did somehow redeem himself at the end but he was overall horrible. i understood him a few times (especially for what happened when he was younger) but he was just a meanie.
that said, it wasn’t a bad written book. i just didn’t like him.
