she just continues to get better. while it took me a second to get into the style used in peter's chapters, i eventually fell in love with it all. rooney never fails to capture and put into words all the simple and wild and awkward and terribly painful and achingly sweet complexities of being human. what a gift it is to follow along the lives of her characters.
