The Highland Falcon Thief by M.G. Leonard, Sam Sedgman

adventurous lighthearted mysterious fast-paced

4.0

The Highland Falcon Thief follows Hal and his friend, Lenny, as take a historic train ride and also figure out the mystery of who stole jewelry from several passengers, including a prince and princess *queue mysterious music*. This was a pretty cute book and Paul absolutely adored it - he's already asked me to check out the next book in the series. Think of it as Agatha Christie books for kids. A fun read. Each book takes place on a different train based off real routes (with some liberties mixed in, which are discussed in notes at the end) and real trains. Great if your kid is into trains or mystery books.
