This was an interesting one for me. It was my first book by Q.B. Tyler and for the most part, I actually enjoyed it.
I absolutely loved the forbidden aspect of this one as it was a best friend's dad forbidden romance. I thought the characters were fun and there was lots of spice (like melt your panties off spice).
But it wasn't perfect for me. My biggest issue was the age gap, and don't get me wrong, I love age gap romances but not when one of the MCs is under 25. I still went into this with an open mind because I've heard wonderful things about Q.B. Tyler's books, but I constantly had a voice in my head reminding me that the FMC is only 21 and it made me feel awkward at times. If both characters were over the age of 25, it easily would've been 4 stars for me.
That being said, it was a fun and steamy read and if an age gap like this doesn't bother you, then you will love it.
