This was a short, fun read! Honestly probably for more of a teenage audience but as far as messy YA  romcoms go the characters definitely have greater-than-average complexity. Noah was a little insufferable but very much in the way 16 year olds tend to be and I think the book did what it could to convey this. Drew was in a lot of ways just a textbook Bad Love Interest character that the protagonist isn't meant to end up with, but I liked that he wasn't completely one-dimensional - it was clear that this dude had Problems and was as much in love with the idea of love as Noah. I would've liked to see a follow-up on what he was up to post-breakup, though. And even for how obvious it was from the start that they'd end up together, Devin was a very sweet and endearing love interest!
Honestly I kept expecting Drew or Devin or some really deep pull like Drew's trans cousin to be the source of all the anon hate but that whole plot thread was left kind of unresolved in general? I think there was in general a lot more room in the book to explore the simultaneously toxic and validating role of social media in Noah's (and by extension all chronically online LGBT+ youth who have no irl community to depend upon) life.
