Murder in the Dark by Kerry Greenwood
3.0
This one was creepier than I was expecting, can't say I'm a massive fan of involving small children (even if they are annoying canonically). The joker's identity escaped me for almost the entire book, although the mastermind behind The Scheming was an easier conclusion. I'm hoping to see more of some of the characters , and none of others. I found those who were meant to the most glamorous and reverent were plainly stupid and delusional. Some of the cultural learning however was pleasant , and of course the overcoming of sexism will always make me a little happy. Some of the mystery at the end and me questioning how it would be resolved, which is a pleasant question to experience in this type of book. Still it wasn't anything to wow me, hence the rating
