- I was not expecting to find out that Ben started the fire. I was screaming.
- The spice was good, I just hate that it was fade to black.
- I really could’ve done without the Ben x Jordyn storyline. Like, I get it but it was weird.
- There were moments where I cringed a lot at this. There were lines I hated. But, I love the premise of meeting up every year on the same day. I love the absence-makes-the-heart-grow-fonder-ness of it. And I loved that the entire book took place on that date. Everything we learned about them and their lives was in the context of one day on the calendar.
- The whole manuscript plot twist thing did feel a little too reminiscent of Verity.
Graphic: Death of parent and Fire/Fire injury
Moderate: Suicide and Terminal illness
