Alice Sadie Celine by Sarah Blakley-Cartwright

2.0

For what was advertised as a character-based novel, there is zero believable character development in this. The central romantic relationship felt predatory and, through a queer lens, extremely regressive. Reminded me of The Adult by Bronwyn Fischer, and not in a positive way. This book just made me feel frustrated and icky
