As someone who doesn't read horror very often - I could've prepared better for the intense of horror that was brought to the table lol.
Hendrix did a wonderful job of painting a picture of the 70s, the home, witchcraft, and the both of this world and out of this world kind of feeling that I don't exactly know how to describe.
There were a few points in the book where I wasn't sure how it would be wrapped up and how we were going to tie up all the things happen. And I really liked the ending, it made all the horror worth it in a way that did not negate the difficult road to the end either.
