Well, it is very unexpected, but I enjoyed this one so much!
I loved this book. I started it almost by accident, having it on my ebook reader but never really caring about it. Then something changed and I wanted a little romance book, easy to read maybe a little cliché-like. I GOT SO MUCH MORE!
This whole plot was unique, and the writing style was so interesting. The author managed to keep me hooked from the start, even though it was hard to get used to it at first.
The characters were absolutely awesome. I don't even know if there was ever a book in which I loved the heroine as mush as I did love Katherine. She had this sense of humor that I could easily relate to, she was wity, and stubborn, and strong, and intelligent and feminine even when she was dressed as a boy. And there's Matthew who's imperfectly perfect, and he's always blushing and has a huge love for Kathy that I really envy. I just loved the romance between the two of them, they were so perfect for each other and I really hope they will get their happy ending in the second book.
