Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond

challenging emotional hopeful informative inspiring reflective sad medium-paced

4.25

A really hard read for me to get through, primarily because it's so well written, and I hear so many of the same sort of stories, day in and day out with my clients. It's incredibly frustrating how similar America is with it's problems everywhere, and how similar it is in the process of ignoring everything. Also- I don't know how well it would go over as a book club book, but I would be fascinated.
