This was the perfect short read. A queer twist and retelling of King Arthur… I was intrigued. The writing style was so different from my other usual reads, with so many more descriptors, I really felt like I was there in the Valley or town. The story was faster, as a lot was fit into the short novel, but it never felt rushed. Though you do sacrifice character depth, I still felt connected and a desire to keep reading. Might have to give her other books a try!
