typical, badly written, predictable children's thriller. The main character, who is a child, kills without any shred of remorse, which really freaked me out. It had some entertainment value and I managed to finish the book without it being excruciating. My brother really liked it so maybe give it to your 11-12 year old if they won't read anything else.
