I feel really conflicted on this one. It took me SO long to get through and I still don’t really feel I understand a lot of it. I did read this as an ebook and wasn’t able to flip back and forth easily, which I think is part of why I found it so confusing. The end was great and I do think I’ll read the sequel but not for a while.
Graphic: Body horror, Gore, Blood
Moderate: Terminal illness
Minor: Cannibalism
