Mackenzie Ellinsworth gets a chance to partner and create a bar and restaurant that could help her achieve something she has always wanted, the only hitch she has is her partner is Connor Branding. Connor has made it clear he was not building roots, even as a chef at their current restaurant he always seemed to have one foot out the door and one foot in bed with a revolving door of women.
When weather plays a part with the help of some drinking Mack and Connor come together in an explosive way. However Connor is not into stability and it is the one thing Mack needs. Can Connor be what Mack needs or will he continue to live a cavalier life?
Good story, I thought the chemistry between Mack and Connor was spot on. The author had a way of creating details that made it to visualize what was going on. Will be checking out more in this series.
