Make It Sweet
by Kristen Callihan
Picked this one up because 1. Free audible through KU program and 2. Jacob Morgan was a narrator.
I did finish the book but I will admit, I stopped caring about 60% of the way through. I liked the characters well enough but they weren’t really anything special. This book was also nothing really special. Just your typical sports star who got injured and is struggling with being away from the sport when he runs into this beautiful woman who makes his life worth living. Lather rinse repeat of every other contemporary romance storyline. I did like all the culinary stuff in this one and when it was mixed into a sex scene at the end - I was glad I stuck around.
Jacob Morgan is the only reason I keep going. He could LITERALLY read the phone book and I would make it all the way to the end. I even like the way that male inhales and exhales
