I would not read this book for titillation, even though has titillating sex scenes. What is great about it is the discussions of the philosophy and psychology of kink, which were deeper and more compelling than almost any other book I I've read on the subject. Anne Rice knows what she's talking about.
Although I do I wish we had spent more time at the Club, with Diana maybe, instead of Lisa moving away from kink.
