🔥 Slow
Storyline: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pace: ⭐️⭐️.5
Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Spice: 🌶🌶
Length: Too long
Burn: Slow
This story follows Payne, who finds out his husband has an OF account and has been cheating for 2 years. He plans to move in with his brother and his wife while he sorts out his life and goes through the divorce. Beau, his brothers , brother inlaw, offers a room at Payne.Beau is an awkward author who has had a crush on Payne since they were teenagers (20yrs).
What I loved:
This story was sweet, and I love how awkward Beau was and how Payne accepted him for who he is. When Payne let's Beau colour in his tattoos to help him with his stress and anxiety 😍
What I wasn't a fan of:
Even though it's only 300 pgs, it felt way too long. The story had some development, but it just felt like it was dragged out. It could have easily been 100 pgs shorter or a novella and still delivered the same story.
Overall:
If you are after a book that you can listen to while doing tasks that require medium attention, then this is a good book.
