I was handed this book knowing it was a good sapphic love story set in the west. I was having a great time with it until the rug got PULLED PUT from under me - I was still having a good time with it after that but I was shook and felt all of Bridget’s betrayal so hard that I basically raced through the last 200 pages.
Maybe I sympathised with her too much but I was a little irritated that the message her friends kept giving was for her to be less selfish. I’m team Bridget.
Claudia writes a loveable foolish beautifully cranky and complex girl who is a girls girl until a girls girl stabs her in the back.
