So this was all action and no character study or development. There was sooooo much exposition and techno-babble. I couldn’t get into this book at all. I’m not sure I’ll be able to read much more of this series. I have never been into X-Force, and this is a reminder why.
The only bit I liked, funnily enough, was when Deadpool’s outfit got eaten away by the goo and he was left wearing a crop cutaway top and panties, aka, the kind of dumb clothes female characters are made to wear all the time. He looked quite fetching in it, more male characters should wear stuff like that. ;)
I did notice that Wade’s body wasn’t as covered with scars, so that was weird.
I don’t think I’ll read much more of this series, but may have to because I’m sure the stories will all be tied together.
