This one isn't for the faint of heart. It gutted me and left me feeling hollow in the beginning, but the ending more than made up for that. I'm not usually one for trigger warnings since I don't have any, but if you struggle with substance abuse and DV please tread carefully. This one is intense.
I loved the first book in this series, and had no doubt that I would love this one, but I was surprised that I loved it even more. Like I said, it's more brutal and emotional, but it's also beautiful and comes together in the end. I can't really say more without giving away the plot, but there's so much I want to say. Be prepared to feel all the feels - anger, pain, anguish, hope, love, redemption, passion, and joy. It has it all.
