Ask Again, Yes
by Mary Beth Keane
I was engrossed in the story of this family from the beginning of the book... and felt the author navigated the difficult subjects well and I was so satisfied by the ending and messages contained within... As Keane revealed the history and insights on each character... what seemed black and white now was gray... and just as in real life... you never know what someone else is going through... what might be troubling them deep within that they aren't even aware of themselves. I would probably give this book closer to 4.5 or 4.75 stars.. but overall a book that made me think and feel and I was invested in the world Keane created.
