this book follows Violet, a girl who was supposed to be a scribe for her whole life just like her father. until her mother decided - and her mom is the general Sorrengail and a rider - that she should go to the rider’s quadrant. but the rider’s quadrant? or you ride and live, or you die trying. she trained her whole life to be a scribe, with a pacific life, how she was going to survive being a rider?

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the story, the characters and specially the dragons - Tairn and Andarna, they’re the best. 💛

Xaden is the best book boyfriend - mysterious and protective. Violet has a strong mind, but sometimes she was so clingy about Xaden that it gave me the inck. Dain is giving Tamlin vibes and if you know, you know. Rhiannon, Ridoc and Liam were so incredible!!

and the plot at the end? I’m sorry what? I didn’t even see that one coming! it was really really good. and without forgetting that yes, I cried with this book.

can’t wait to read ‘iron flame’!
